Top Ten Android Strategy Games

  1. Plants Vs Zombies

Plants vs. Zombies is a tower defense video game developed and originally published by PopCap Games for Microsoft Windows and OS X. The game involves a homeowner using many varieties of plants to repel an army of zombies from "eating their brains".
The game uses several different level types and layouts. The game starts out in a front yard, and progresses to nighttime levels, where the gameplay is more challenging, with no replenishing sun unless specific plants are used, the backyard is visited, with a pool added, and the final levels are nighttime pool levels (where fog fills the right half of the screen except when specific plants are used), a lightning storm level in pitch black (except when illuminated by occasional flashes of lightning), and rooftop levels (on the final level, the player must face a huge robot operated by a zombie known as Dr. Zomboss).

    2. Robotek HD

This game uses a slot machine to determine the attacks players use on their enemies. This may not sound very strategic, but each slot machine has a different effect. This blends elements of thoughtful planning with the excitement of chance. Players outfit their robots with different upgrades and level-up their stats, but still find themselves at the mercy of Lady Luck.

      3. Jelly Defence

This tower defense game plays fairly traditionally. Creeps come down fixed paths, and players align their defenses to stop them from reaching the end point. However, the game has a quirky style that makes the art and level design really stand out.

      4. Anomaly: Warzone Earth

The style of the gameplay has been described as "reverse tower defense", "tower attack", and "tower offense".Players control a convoy of vehicles investigating anomalies around sections of a downed alien spacecraft, which are protected by various types of defensive towers that have to be destroyed.Players do not directly control the vehicles in the convoy, rather they set paths for the convoy to follow along city streets, while also dropping power-ups such as decoys or smoke-screens to aid the survival of the convoy. In addition, players can purchase and equip a number of different units with varying offensive and defensive attributes to make up the convoy.

      5. Hexdefence

Fans of open-field tower defense who want their action in a tighter package would do well to check out this game. While tower placement is still used to obstruct enemies, the smaller fields mean that tower placement becomes even more important, especially when it comes to laser towers that can attack multiple enemies at once. It's similar to Fieldrunners, yet surprisingly different because of the scale.

      6. Osmos

The aim of the game is to propel oneself, a single-celled organism ("Mote"), into other smaller motes to absorb them. Colliding with a mote larger than the player will cause the player the be absorbed, resulting in a game over. Changing course is done by expelling mass. Due to conservation of momentum, this results in the player's mote moving away from the expelled mass, but also in one's own mote shrinking.
